A man died a hundred years ago, he is resurrected and returns to the places where he used to live. How do you think he would react? What new things would impress him?
This is Teo, First we must take in consideration the differences between those times in 1918 the first world war ended with 20 million casualties if the man died during the war he would wake up think it was still 1918 so he would indeed be confused . The first thing he would ask would probably be "did we win" lets say he was a french soldier we would say "yes" i imagine him breaking into tears of joy but soon after asking "what did it cost" i wouldn't want to be the person to break the news because of the shear destruction ww1 caused during its lengthy reign of death.
First, I think he won’t recognize much of the places he lived because many things were destroyed because of the war then rebuilt to make the city more modern, but he will be amazed to see that he doesn’t there are more wars, than men are free, everything has been rebuilt. He will also be moved to see again the city where he grew up but also he will be surprised, impressed and he will be in misunderstanding because he wasn’t ready for changes, wasn’t ready to see technologies, to give an example he didn’t know the phone, he will ask himself: "But what is this thing that everyone has in his hands? He will look oddly public transport, cars, trams ... He will ask questions about the new currency" but where are the francs? "But afterwards, I think he will be disappointed and sad because all the people he knew and loved died and will feel lonely.
Hello ! How are you my friend ? I will take an example of a man who was a victim of the First World War, and who in 2018 a century later, returns to his hometown’s Nice. It must be remembered that there were 18.6 million deaths during the Big War, it's terrible. I think his first reaction would be, "Oh my god where I am ?” Turning him big buildings, houses, modern cars, he should think he's having a nightmare. His first question would be, is the Big War over? and who won? Surely I will look at him strangely and I will go away, but if I answer him, I would tell him, yes the horror is over and France is victorious, I think he would be very happy and ask me a thousand other questions, such as : What is it that is big buildings that reaches the sky or these cars, how do they work ? Is my nephew still alive? And many more questions. That's it, I think we would all have the same reaction except that mine would be : who won the World Cup of football? :) Bye !
Sorry, I made some mistakes : - God; Turning if front of him ; Will take the ; He would think; I would look; Would go ; If i should answer , huge buildings ; reach.
First, I think this old man would react in a strange way of course. We're pretending he died in 1918 so it's political different. It's was the end of the first world war and he saw how the country was. If he comes to our "new world" he would be surprised of course first because of the technologies, people's thoughts and way of living. He would maybe like and dislike this world at the same time. He would like it because it's in better conditions than before, a democratic and free country but also the would dislike it because nowadays technologies are getting over people and we aren't aware of it. he would like 1918's years for it's old beauty of the XXth century.
hi, First, I would like to talk about the old man's house: she can perharps stayed as she was a hunder years ago, or totally changed because of the architectural development. Then he will recognize some cars brand such as ford, renault, and be stupefied by the progress that the people have done during hundred years. He also might try to remember his close family but is probably already dead. Finally, he will see all the people with a smartphone in the hand, calling people and will not understand it.
Hello, Going to the future is a dream for anyone. First of all, in order to discover a life that it is difficult to imagine now because of the progresses. But one hundred years ago, we were in 1918. It was the first world war that lasted more longer than everyone thought. The main goal of the population in France was to survive in peace. But nowadays, there are planes for leisure, there are smartphones, a lot modern cars, more population... Many landscapes have changed especially in towns. So it would depend if this old man came from a big town or from a small village. Nevertheless, I think he would be happy to see that France lives in peace even if his house has disappeared. I think what would impress him would be how much technology evolved before the Internet didn't exist, whereas now everything is so much simpler thanks to that and even to see the evolution of our generation with cars and even scientific and medical developments

Sorry I made some mistakes:
ReplyDelete- that is

- longer
- to depend on
- that the French live in peace
