Invent a story : Walking in the rain

16 comments:

  1. It was a Saturday night, a dark and cold night. I was walking in the rain, in a long and big avenue, there were dozens of high trees with autumn leaves, throughout the avenue. I was scared and alone, I was lost. I couldn't find my way and I didn't even know where I was and where I was going. There was no one in the streets, just a few birds and some cats : one was climbing the frontage of a building, four of them were eating in a been and fighting for the rest of a chicken (I think they had not eaten for days) and the last one came and just walked next to me, I was surprised but reassured because it was the only companion I had in my despair ! I continued to walk straight without stopping but it was raining more and more.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me and then, the cat who was with me began to run and it went away, so I turned around and I saw a profile, I was not sure but it seemed to be a tall man with a hat, I could not see well because of the darkness but I knew this person was following me. I was terrified so I walked faster but he was still behind me, then I ran without looking back. After five minutes, I was exhausted but hope returned : I saw a light in the distance and fortunately, it was a house so I decided to go there.
I arrived in front of this house, my last chance. I was soaked and hungry, then I knocked on the door but no one answered, so I turned the handle and the door opened. It was a dark and big house with old fashioned furniture and many floors, I decided to go upstairs because I heard a noise. It was terrifying and I was crying. I saw a big corridor and at the bottom of it, a room was lit so I walked very slowly to enter in it, I pushed the door and I saw something incredible.......about 30 persons were there and shouted together "happy birthday !", they were singing too ! I was so surprised to see all of my friends and my family, then I cried again, not because I was worried but because I was happy. And finally, the man with the hat, it was my father, what a surprise, I didn't even recognize him !

  2. It was the 15th of March, the day of my birth ! So, I was very happy and my family and me decided to go to restaurant.
We went out and it was raining.. At this point in time, I was very disappointed because I'm afraid of the rain ( I think it's a serious disease) ! It's very strange..
I've never told this at anyone because I'm a bit ashamed of that !
So, I decided to surmount my fear..
I started to cry, my head began to spin and I was extremely cold.. Never in my life, I feel this horrible feeling !
I was walking in the rain when a car came over me !
I was trown back, but I realized that this was not the car that throw me.. It was my brother lying on the ground.. He died for me !
Finally, this day is a special day for me and my brother.. I could have avoided it by staying at home and confess my fear. Maybe it was the fate of my brother ?

This story is not true, of course !

  4. This is an unbelievable story of two young girls ...

They were called Diane and Emily and they were spending some vacations in the beautiful city of Paris. Hopefully, the weather was beautiful so they decided to go sightseen and visit a fiew monuments like the Eiffel Tower, The " Arc of Triomphe" and also go to visit a museum they wanted to see: "The Louvre". It really was a nice and interesting day. Later, they went back to their hotel happy but extremely tired.

The next day, the weather had changed but still, the girls decided to go shopping in a well-known street. Because of the pouring rain, they waited for a taxi while a young good-looking boy was waited with them. He wanted to share the cab with them. Emily and Diane accepted and were glad to pay half prize for the ride. During the journey, the boy invited them to a party the same night. However, after a long hesitation, they agreed and were also glad to have met this handsome guy. Although they were exited about the party, a part of them was worried because as good looking as this young man was, he still was a stranger.

Their shopping afternoon was great but they had to run from store to store because of the rain. Finally, the two girls found perfect dresses for each one of them to look gorgeous and wanted to be the prettiest girls of the party. On top of it, the dresses were very expensive... While they were shopping, Diane was thinking of a way to seduce the guy they had met before. She had a big crush on him, for her, it was love at first sight. Diane told all this to Emily and she totally approved her friend.
The time pasted and the rain didn't stop but the girls didn't mind. On the contrary, they were too busy shopping and thinking about the party.
The friend went back to their hotel and were happy to wear their dresses. Once they were dressed and ready, a cab was waiting for them downstairs sent by the stranger.

Diane and Emily quick found out that it wasn't a real party as the young man was not here. They were chocked to see a hole lot of people using strong drugs and trying to catch them, with violence.
Very frightened, they ran away as fast as they could to escape and took of their hight heels to run faster. The two girls were all wet but themselves never take a taxi again even by this horrible weather.

After running since a long time, they began to walk, socking wet...
Exhausted by this two hour walk under the rain and the terrible storm, the friends finally arrived to their hotel...

A dark shadow was waiting for them in the corner, under the rain with two hidden syringes behind its back...
Unfortunately for them, they hadn't seen it...
Yes, it was a rainy day, and a worst one...

Guess who the shadow looked like?

  5. I woke up in the middle of a street. I didn't know how did I get there. So I looked around me to find where I was. It was night, the cobbled street where I woke up was surrounded by ancient houses. A very few of them were standing, all of the others were ruined. However, what struck me was the lack of light : I could se neither the moon nor the stars in the sky, and all the house's windows were closed. I heard the lightning, and it began to rain.I had to find a way out of there.

Therefore, I stood up and I covered my head with my clothes. Then, I started walking in the rain. The more I was progressing, the more it was getting colder. I began to feel a presence behind me. It was agonizing. I ignored it at first, but when I heard a barely human yell behing me, I ran as fast as I could. I knew it was coming for me so I tried to run faster. The street turned on the left, on the right, and on the left again, doing that during almost 15 minutes. The lightning struck. I finally stopped myself, as I thought I shook off "it". I looked in front of me, it was the end of the street. A big and old wall was standing in front of me. I walked in front of it. As the lightning struck again, I could see that bright red letters were wrote on it, and that a human skeleton was sat down it, pointing the message. A new lightning helped me to find that the letters were drawn with blood. I was horrified, but I still tried to decipher the writing. I finally could read it terrified, it was written :
    "Behind you".
I turned around, and I saw "it". Then I couldn't remember.

I woke up in my bed this time and I thought "Oh thanks god it was a dream", I was soaked. I looked through my window, it was a dark and rainy night. It remembered me something, a smile, not a warm smile, a mix of voracity and sadism, and I threw up.

  8. My story began a saturday night, I was in the street. The rain fell on my head. It was cold and there was a creepy atmosphere with the fog which hided houses and shops. I walked alone under the rain thinking about something when suddenly I heard a nose, I looked around me, but nobody was here.
So, I kept walking faster. The rain was getting stronger, so I put myself under a shelter, It was a small roof belonging to a bar, behind me. I tried to get in, but It was locked. Nobody is in this street at midnight, because of something. People believe that a legend exists and haunts the street from midnight. A kind of curse. I wasn’t worried about this, however I heard an other nose behind me, in the bar, I get closer and saw...the darkness, only the darkness. I was terrified about thinking at this legend right now, I would like to think something else but It was impossible, I was stuck between the bar and the rain so powerful that I couldn’t see anything. I close my eyes and heard again a nose so noisy this time, it was looked like something like broken dishes. I felt a presence behind me, a breath, I open my eyes…but I couldn’t. The alarm clock rang and took me out of my nightmare. I was releave. ;)

I was at my friend's vacation house. It was evening and we were making a chocolate cake when we realised we forgot the sugar. So, we took the keys and took the bus to find a supermarket. We bought the sugar and waited for the bus to go back. It never arrived, we had to go by ourselves in the center and then on the hill to go back home.
We were humbugged, but my friend and me decided to go by walk because her parents weren't answering at the phone.
So, we started walking towards her house, when she felt water on her shoulder. She was worried about it because she remembered we didn't take an umbrella . We started running but it was too late:
the dark grey clouds dropped small drops on us, then averages, before soaking us completely.
We stopped running: the bad was done and we had to go home like that.
But we weren't angry at the rain, we liked its smell and the wind that changed us from the warmth of the city we lived in. We kept walking for half an hour until we arrived at her vacation's house. We were freezing but we had the sugar and we were happy that our walk in the rain was over, even if we liked it.
