When we think about it, it's amazing how presents can tell a story. As a matter of fact, gifts have true meanings. Some of them are worth remembering. So, why people only remember special gifts that they've received?
To begin, fortunately, a present often shows kindness and goodness. Besides, it's not because they are not expensive that they aren't precious. Truly, it's even the opposite: an unexpensive present has true values and express a lot of touchy things. Because you only give sweet presents to the people that you really care about. For exemple, when you offert a rose to a girl, it means that your present to her is your love. To be honest, love is the most precious gift in the world. Moreover, love doesn't have a prize so it's even more touching. On the other hand, it's awful to say that but a gift can destroy you. Sadly, these kind of presents are the ones that you remember the most. For exemple, I've once received a gift that destroyed me. As a matter of fact, I've got an empty box of chocolate from a person very close to me. It was terrible and I didn't understand why.

These gifts that I own have their own individual value that remains in my heart. It's very hard to let them go. It doesn't matter how big or small a gift is but whether it was sincere. For example, during Christmas time people use this holiday to buy fancy gifts, but they don't realize that these gifts don't really come from the heart. A gift that comes from the heart is much better than a gift that was picked off from a store shelf. For example, if you receive a wonderful watch from a friend, althought you'll appreciate it, you won't really remember it whereas if your mother, your child, your best friend or your boyfriend gives you a simple present like a card with nice things written on it, or an object that symbolises the relationship, so in this case, you will remember this present and this person for a long time. However sometimes, you remember a gift that you liked but not the person who gave it to you! But it's better to remember the person rather that its present because the person will stay in your memories whereas the present can be broken or lost.
In conclusion, some people remember presents because they represent something special as the relationship you have with this person.
