It is a very hard choice to make because I really struggled this year to get good grades in subjects I originally wanted to keep. Even though I know that changing your studies is always possible after highschool, I have to think a lot about this decision and, honestly, I think that whatever I choose, it will not suit me. I think I'm keeping math and English next year but I love physic so I'm a bit lost.
This is a difficult choice because it will define our choice of school for later. So if we make the wrong choice it is difficult to go back. For my part, I keep the specialty SES and LLCE are subjects where I have facilities and where the lessons inspire me the most. The topics are interesting and the lessons are entertaining. I think it's a hard choice because today's education system forces us to choose our future orientation at a very young age but I decided to keep HGGSP because this subject has been a revelation for me. Indeed, this year I discovered a passion for current affairs, history, politics and international relations, which confirms my choice. Moreover, this subject helps to develop public speaking and critical thinking skills, which I adore. I also keep mathematics because I have always liked doing calculations and solving equations but it is above all one of the subjects that allows me to be the person I am today through all the abilities I have acquired.
For the second year of high school in France we have to select two subjects in our three specialities. It could be a difficult choice for someone but an evidence for an other one. Moreover it depend of your dream job, then it could depend on your actual grades. For my part I already know what I would like to do in the future, that why for the next year I will choose SVT and Physics, Chemistry. I will also follow the option DNL , moreover I will take the option complementary maths.
For the next year I decide to keep HGGSP and SES because this subjects are very interesting and they give access to many professions .
