Donate your organ

Are you able to donate your organ ?

  1. For my part, I would give an organ to someone I consider in need, my family, my friends. For my friends I would not give to anyone, this person must be a trusted person and that I consider dear to my heart and that I have known for a long time. Give an organ is a difficult decision to make and it must be thoughtful.

  2. I think many people these days require organ donation. It is essential for me to give to others what I would like to receive if I were in a situation in which my health and my life would be threatened. I have a lot of empathy and I think it's important to help sick people, because illness affects everyone. There are so many of us on earth so if we all showed generosity and humanity and donated blood and organs, many lives would be saved.

  3. I would very much like to donate my organs but for religious reasons I cannot. Nevertheless, I find it very good and very courageous on the part of organ donors to do because it saves lives.

  4. Yes I am able to donate an organ though it depends on the person receiving it. I think this a pretty common way to think since you wouldn't want to donate a precious organ to a stranger. The person you donate to could also have been a criminal which would be very unfortunate even though I am all for forgiving people there are some things that can't be forgiven.
The organ I give can also effect my choice, if it could really alter my lifestyle than I would be against the idea of donating unless the person is very special to me.

  5. I think organ donation is something very important. Indeed, in my opinion, it is necessary that we unite in strength to save the lives of thousands of patients around the world. Moreover, the disease does not only affect people from disadvantaged backgrounds or poor countries and in precarious situations, the disease can affect us at home, our neighbors or even members of our family. We must therefore not be selfish and give what we would like to receive. I can understand the apprehension of people who don't give but I would like to make them understand that one day. Unfortunately this could happen to them and waiting for a donor must be very difficult.

  6. Nowadays, medical advances have increased the number of donations and transplants worldwide, which is a great thing. Personally, I am able to donate one of my organs if it saves the lives of people I love or in an extremely urgent case, which becomes a necessity. However, I don't appreciate donations or theses methods because there are many risks such as bone damage, hypertension or cardiovascular disease. It can also lead to the lowering of the immune system therefore I don't have full confidence in therapeutic operations because we don't know the immunological reaction of the body.

  7. Yes I am able to donate my organ because that can help people who’s going to die and also their loved ones. It would be my pleasure to give a second chance to a person who is about to die.

  8. First of all, yes, I could do it and in case of emergency I will donate my organ to my family or other people. The most important thing is that it can save a life. Besides, I think it's so great to be able to do this just by donating your organ, that is why I recommend doing this kind of thing. As long as you are healthy you can do it. In short I think it's the best thing you can do to show your love to a loved one.

  10. Yes, but not for people I don't know because for me it's a very important choice because it's a choice without turning back and my life depends on this choice. But there are people very important to me like my parents or sisters and brothers for whom I would be able to make this decision. Maybe knowing the situation of the person in need can change my mind. For me the exchange of organs is an important and radical decision that requires a lot of braveness and kindness.

  12. Donating your organs is an important decision you have to carefully think about. If I had to donate my organs while i’m alive, I would without hesitation, but only to the people I really care about. Nevertheless, when I die, I will make the decision to donate all of my organs, because i won’t need them anymore and it could help a lot of people in need.

  13. Organ donation is giving an organ (alive or dead) to someone else who needs a transplant.
Here we will explain if I am able to donate my organ.
First of all we should remind ourselves that there are two types of donation.
The first way is when you die if you are compatible with someone and you have previously given your consent before dying you could donate.
The second way is more complex, it is when you are alive so the approach requires more thought, moreover it could be not just giving an organ to anybody, it could be a donation to someone in your family.
Being against saving someone to not put yourself in danger is a form of selfishness.
In summary, I think that I’m able to donate my organs alive or dead, because for me life or death isn’t really scary. I am writing my own story so how could I be scared of some troubles ? If I die having done a generous act that’s all that matters.
I understand the people that they don’t want to donate their organ, I think that just depend of the personality and the way that each others see the life

  14. I think I will gave an organ only for my family or my friends. It's really great to donate our organ to someone because that can save their life but I don't want to donate mine to anybody cause if one of mine does not work anymore I have another one, also to donate his organ we need an operation , which can be dangerous. I admire people who donate their organs to strangers, they are very generous.

  15. If I were to donate an organ, it would only be for someone I couldn't live without, because organ donation is not a trivial matter without repercussions on our own lives and bodies.
