I think black history month is really important because it allows us to learn about, celebrate, and honor Black leaders. Black people endured sacrifice and suffering and must be honored for what they fought for, not just in the country but in the world with their activism and achievements. It’s important because it remember to young what their ancestor have been trough for centuries. It’s in my opinion a rewarding month, which is a really good initiative to always remember and never let these events forgotten.
I think black history month is important to celebrate because celebrating diversity helps us to learn about people from different cultures and backgrounds and to understand how we are all connected. Black history month is a time to spread awareness and learn more while continuing to support the Black community's histories, traditions, and culture. It’s a time to imagine and work toward a future free of racism and discrimination. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the achievements blacks have accomplished despite the history of racism. Zoe Hughes
