Do you believe that there are perfect crimes?

  1. Yes I think there's a perfect crime. History has already shown us that the man was very smart to hurt Men. To have a perfect crime we just need to have a murderer who is intelligent and policemen who are stupids and the crime was never solved. But in general the killer leaves clues. He must just know let those which do not compromise him. It is an art.

  3. I am writing for deborah,
This story " the last sherlock Holmes" was written by Mickael Dibdin. It's about one of the adventure of Holmes and his friend, doctor watson. This one made a report of this crime but he took it in a close box, which can open after his death. This crime was a real mystery. But you, do you think tha crimes pay ?
In this book, for example, it's like a "perfect crime", because we don't know who is Jack the Ripper. It's Moriarty or Holmes ? Also, there aren't any clues so the police can't catch the murederer, it's very difficult.
So, in my opinion, no , crimes don't pay because they aren't good. It's not a good idea to kill other people. And after if the police catch the murederer, he will to a prison and it's not good then.

  5. A crime, to be perfect has to leave no clues. In the past, some particularly good murderers succeeded in doing it. But is it still possible not to do a good but a perfect crime nowadays ?

As I was watching the news two days ago. I heard that a man who had killed someone ten years ago was just arrested. The cop who was interviewed stated that the key point in that investigation had been DNA. Thank's to an international file, it is now possible to find the DNA of everybody on Earth. This makes me thinking that there won't be perfect crimes anymore.
However there are some situations where DNA is irrelevant. I'm thinking of crimes in really cold places. There, DNA can't be use because of the cold. For some crimes we will never know what really happened.

To conclude, I'd say that it's going to be very difficult to do a perfect crime in the future. As series like "Les Expert" show it, almost every investigation can be succeded. Thant's to scientific progress, even when at first glance a crime seems perfect, there's always a way to find the murderer. I'm not saying that I don't believe in perfect crimes. But from now on, it's going to be really difficult to do one.

  6. A perfect crime is really hard to do, especially at our time, with all the new technologies to identify the criminal! And human is never perfect, he does errors! in my mind, there will be always a way to discover the truth! Maybe perfect crime exists but perfect detectives too!

  7. "to commit a crime........ was arrested....thanks to..... this makes me think.... cannot be used..... to commit a perfect crime as we have seen in ...can be successful....Due to/thanks to..."
"Especially nowadays..... he makes mistakes....to my mind...there will always be.."

  8. Nobody's perfect, neither a criminal!

To my mind, a crime can't be perfect like in a movie. There's always a way to find the truth and the murderer. Especially with nowadays technology. Just a little mistakes and all is discovered! Unfortunately, justice can make mistakes too. In france, since 1945, there is 9 big fault of the jugement. It's happen that innocent personn paid the cruel things that a murderer had done. That is very unfair.

To conclude, I'll say that perfect crimes don't exist, fortunately! But we all makes mistakes, not just the murderer, judges too.

  9. The perfect crime doesn't exist, at the slightest mistake and with the news scientifics technicals, we know who is the criminal, with what he had killed, in wich condition...
But there is a serie " Dexter ", he is a serial killer, who does perfects crimes, but it's a serie, it's a science fiction...

  10. "Especially with new technologies nowadays.. a very tiny mistake.... Justice can also make mistakes... Since 1945, there have been 9 errors in France.... sometimes innocent people pay for wicked deeds.... we all make". "The slighest mistake and with the help of new scientific tecnhnique the criminal is discovered, also the weapon and in which circumstances.."

  11. Does the perfect crime exist? It is very difficult to answer this question. One thing that I know is that to commit the perfect crime nowadays is something very hard to do.
Crime Technologie has advanced so much, that if the culprit leaves even the slightest clue behind him such as DNA(hair, skin, a tear, just about anything) he can be discovered.
There are some cases where it takes a long time to discover the culprit, it can even take years.
In my mind, the perfect crime is hard to accomplish but possible.

  13. Persons who commit a crime are seldom right persons. Mostly often, they have already reflected on their future actions, on circumstances and consequences before commit the crime. Murderers kill deliberately.
For long time, there are many ways to find a murderer or a killer for the policemen. They can use many technical and scientific means to identify and to try to understand why and how the crime was committed. There is identification whom we can find using DNA, fingerprint, there is as well insects or body’s temperature thank to that we can determinate the hour of the crime or other things very important we must know to discover the killer. All these means were used by policemen for one century and maybe more. In the early 20th century, scientists discovered some ways we use today, the scientific police’s work began and policeman could unmask murderers. Over the years, means were improved and scientists discovered some new means whose one very important thing: DNA. Today, that is used in all investigations and revolutionized the police’s works. Almost all killers could be exposed with this mean one.
In my mind, there isn’t exists a perfect crime. Mostly today, because of all the ways using by investigators. It’s nearly impossible to commit a perfect crime. I think murderers should use their reflection and their intelligence to don’t be unmasked.

in conclusion, i would say no.

  16. "People who commit crimes are normal...... they think about/they reflect .......before committing....Police have different methods to solve.....DNA, fingerprints are used to find the identity of the person.... Furthermore, insects and the temperature of the body ..... to determine .....or very important things.... we must know how to discover..... some methods that are used today.... the scientific aspect of police's work is highlighted and used....... Over the years, techniques have improved...... and the discovery of DNA, which is used ........by using this technique any killer can be discovered.... Therefore, the perfect crime doesn't exist....... murderers should use their thoughts and intelligence to remain unmasked"

"No I don't think so, because there are no perfect crimes. Criminals always leave clues that lead to their whereabouts such as .... which help to solve the crime... Moreover, with the new technologies the tiniest detail is analysed .... so it is impossible to commit a prefect crime."

  18. The concept of a "perfect crime" suggests a crime committed without leaving any evidence or clues that could lead to the person who did it. In movies, it's easy to have a perfect crime whereas in reality, it's extremely challenging to commit a crime without leaving any trace. Moreover the technology and surveillance have made it more difficult to commit a crime without detection.
However, during the history there are certainly many unsolved crimes, which might seem perfect , but this doesn't mean that they left no evidence, it is just maybe mean that the police didn't interpreted it correctly. There are cases like the death of the little Gregory 1984 or even the crime of the princess Diana Spencer. We only know that she died in a car accident but who did it ? We don't know. However there are a lot of theories.
