Yes that countries which has built their fortune on slavery should pay back because of the damage they caused and they traumatized populations. Nowadays it still affects some people and the horrible act they did will never be forgiven.

the countries that have experienced slavery are still suffering the consequences and this especially impacts their young who want to succeed but do not have the means at their disposal to do. I think it is not a question of paid or not because slavery and colonization are very complex subjects. The best way to be reimbursed is to let these countries developpe themselves without else states getting involved and abusing their power.
