The coming local elections will let people choose their future mayor. What changes would you like to see in your town /city? And if you are of age, what will influence you the most in the candidates' political plans?
The local elections our coming up soon, personally I think that we are lucky to be living in Nice because it is a very beautiful town. However there are some changes that could be made and that would make things better such as the fact that there are too many homeless people on the streets, we should be able to put them in shelters or help them in some way. Indeed it isn't nice seeing a family on the street during the winter when the pavements are freezing cold. Furthermore I think that there aren't enough recycling bins in Nice, personally in my apartment block there are almost none and I find it very strange because in other towns there are more of them. Moreover in this day and age people know that it is important to protect the environment and also to recycle so I think that the future mayor should really do something about this. Hopefully there will be some good changes with the next mayor.
Good morning. First of all, I think that we need the least polluting, quick and efficient means of transport possible, such as bicycles, and unlike now, they should be everywhere and easy to access. Next, Install more benches and small rest areas throughout the city, and more green spaces. And finally, in my opinion, the essential things to do come from us, like stopping throwing garbage on the ground (and also cigarette butts), sorting our garbage . . . and what the mayor could do would be to decide that almonds be put if these kinds of things are not respected. And if that's already the case, the mayor should say to watch out and be tough.
Hello, I had like to see in Nice, less dog muck, cigarette butt, etc... by doing cleaning more the city. And less pollution by reduce to using the car and use for example bike. So I wish, that local election can be change this for being good in our town.
Hi, as every one has seen, I guess, the second round of elections have been postponed because of coronavirus. Personally, I’m very glad of my beautiful city but there is still some few things that I would like to change. First of all, I think it will be good to put more of electric scooters like in Paris for example, it will help reduce pollution. I would also like the city to be more clean, but I don’t think that the mayor can change something but it's people who need to change their habits (don’t throw their cigarets on the floor). Maybe the future mayor will do good changes in Nice, we will see…
Hello ! It is important to think about what we would like to see in our city because we can all do something to make it better. On the one hand I think we should clean more the city, throw our waste in the trash, pick up dog waste... On the other hand I think we could reduce pollution by using more public transport, bycicle... And also create more green area because they are good for our health. I hope the mayor will encourage this kind of approach
First of all, I think that, with everything that’s going on right now, with the coronavirus, the government need to invest as quickly as possible in hospitals and medical equipment to improve the situation, because I think that even when the pandemic will be over, everyone will always be vulnerable to disease and hospitals will be overwhelmed for a long time. Secondly, I think that the pollution is an important subject in urban cities like Nice, so it would be a very good idea to avoid the global warming as much as possible. I think that maybe, ecological transport should be easier to access, to influence people to reduce global warming as we can.

Hello, These upcoming local elections will allow the future mayor to set new rules to improve the city. Although Nice is a very beautiful city with many advantages, however there are drawbacks can be changed, like there should be less cigarettes on the floor. For this install more bins to avoid trash on the floor or must install cameras. Also, develop electric transport to limit pollution. Thus the city can be proper and it's better for the environment.
Hello, First of all, I would like to say that I am not particularly a big fan of politics, but Nice is a beautiful city and our mayor does a great job. I would love to see more green areas even if there is already a lot of it, I would also like to see more green garbage because we live in a dying world and we have to do everything we can to save it and I think that even small actions can make a big change. I would also like the mayor to talk about the people who throw their trash or their cigarettes on the street. I can't vote but I would like a mayor who wants to change things and who is responsible because of climate change.
Hello, First of all, I think that the bus lanes replaced with trees were not a really good idea because the bus are not priority and so there is less advantages by taking the bus instead of the car. Moreover, fire trucks and other priority vehicules are very slowed down because they can't pass the other cars by using another road. On the other hand, I think that the future mayor could introduce more electric micro-scooters as there are in Paris, and create more special lanes for bikes and micro-scooters. Finally, he or she could organise a program to help the homeless in order to find a house, a job and some food for them.
The elections are something we all are waiting for.
What I really hope about our futur mayor is that it will be someone who loves Nice and treat the locals well.
I want to see less pollution because the planet is more and more in danger. I hope that the historical monuments will not be destroyed because it is part of our History and is is our pride, our customs and traditions. I would like to see more greenery in the city because Nice is already beautiful. Maybe the people on the beach in summer ? I hope that people will be nicer with everyone of course.
