  4. The past was better because this time have become better. Now we are all equal and free! Some men have allowed a better world a world with almost no war. But unfortunately, our world is not perfect.

  8. I think the past has made the present better because whitout the action of honnest and good man like Martin Luther King, the present of the USA would be as in its past, a country racist where black people didn't have the same rights like white people.

  10. As I will not take me two hours of restraint I will comment... I think the election of Barack Obama is a big step in the history of the united states. We can certify from November 4, 2008 that the status of blacks will never be lower than whites. I find it wonderful to have a black president at the head of the first global power when we know the past of the United States.

  12. I think that the past has made a brighter future. People have sacrifized their lives during the civil war to make a better life for their chlidren and grandchildren. Changes in the past have brought hope for the future. When Barack Obama was elected president of the United States, it brought hope to the whole world. Hopefully in the near future all men and women will respect each other.

  13. I think nothing in particular about the past. The past makes present and old fights would be future fights.
As B Obama who need to success with social security plan in the USA if he wants really to change his country.
Unfortunately, today we are celebrating his election anniversary and he lost majority to the Parlement !!!
