What are your thoughts on the movie we watched in class: "Hidden Figures" ? Did you like it? Why? What do you think about the evironment in which the characters evolve?
this film is a very good film that show us history of space program thus that segregation and inequalily in US society of 1970. Moreover this film show us that black people and white people can have same capacity
I like the beginning of this movie. He shows us how the first women were treated in NASA and the inequality between men and women. Also at the beginning of the film, we can see the officer's judgment for the skin color of the 3 black women. This film shows us the inequalities and racism of this period.
Personnaly, I absolutely loved this movie! The 3 main characters are such inspiring figures, and the fact that it is a true story is the icing on the cake. The film itself is well made. I could really feel the emotions of the characters, and the intensity of some scenes through the screen.
I love this movie. The 3 women are really inspiring for me. During all the movie they fight to be respected for what they do (their work in the Nasa). I appreciated when the man destroyed the bathroom for black women after Katherine told him that she need to went far just to go to the toilet. With this act he helps the cause of black by allowing her to go to the same toilet as Mitchell (the white girl). I also like the fact that this movie show us their private lives, like when Katherine marries Jim, because it's very cute but above all that they also have a life like white people. This movie is inspiring, he makes us want to fight for our dreams even if others are opposed.

I really liked this movie because they showed like it said in the title, three “hidden figures”. At first this movie motivated me for my goals, showing me how powerful can be women fighting in a segregator and unfair environment. Moreover in would like to add that I really loved the fact that the movie show the happiest moments in afro-americains’s life, which is really neglected in a lot of stories. Finally, I think that the conclusion we have to learn of this film, is that we should always remind us that every rights we have, is about to the fight of many people who often made sacrifices.
I appreciate the movie "Hidden Figures" released in 2016 and directed by Theodore Melfi.
The story of this film was very endearing to me because it was visually beautiful, the soundtracks were really good and the acting too. I truly admired the three main characters who were very determined and passionate to accomplish their goals. I liked the fact that this movie was based on a real story and historical references like the cold War between Russia and USA. My favorite character was Katherine; she works to calculate the numbers at NASA, she's very brave and ambitiouned. The moment when the office boss asked her where she was going and then she stood up for her against him was my favorite moment because the actress's played really good and this scene was very emotional for me. I think it's very hard to have the courage to rebel for our reasons against huge injustice that's why Katherine is a very strong girl and an example for me. I liked the fact that despite her conditions she works hard, for example she was the only black girl in the office but she was still working hard no matter her bad conditions, for example she was running everyday for access to the restroom and because of this she worked a lot of overtime.
Everything was very good in this movie, but there are some little things that I didn't liked. I haven't liked the racist characters, like the office boss. At the beginning that hidden important elements of documents with a black marker so that Katherine couldn't read them, which made me really angry and I felt very sad for Katherine. But in the end, the boss changed and removed the segregation in the office, which made me happy.
In conclusion, I really liked this movie. It was very emotional and intriguing in my opinion. I also appreciated its historical values and characters. For me, it really deserves its three Oscar nominations. The film themes that aboard the movie are still current today like racism or unjust working conditions and it may change opinions and I really appreciate that.
Brave and ambitious/stood up to him/but she worked hard in spite of her conditions/she would run every day to be able to use/I didn't like the racist characters/Who hid important/deserve the three/The themes in the movie are still topical today/unfair working conditiontions

I absolutely loved "Hidden Figures"! It was such an inspiring and powerful movie. The story of the brilliant African-American women working at NASA during the Space Race was truly captivating. I think the movie did a great job of shedding light on the challenges they faced in a society that was still grappling with racial and gender inequality. It's amazing to see how these incredible women persevered and made significant contributions to space exploration. The environment they had to navigate was definitely challenging, but their determination and brilliance shone through.
I loved the film we watched, it shows that black women have their place in society despite the inequalities that face them. It shows that we are all equal and that we deserve to be treated the same way because our abilities are not limited to the color of our skin.
