DREAM JOB
In a few weeks' time we'll all have to make course choices for next year, we'll have to think hard about a job we would like to do. Most of us will try to be reasonable even though we may have other expectations for the future. Now let's be unreasonable and write 100 words about our dream job (the job we might not do but have always dreamt of).

ReplyDeleteI'm a person who often changes her mind. But right now Chemistry is one of my favorite subjects so my "dream job" must be in relation with Chemistry.
I would like to create a new cosmetic product brand. But not makeup only cream, oil or lotion for people's skin. For the body and the face there will be moisturizing or anti-aging creams. I want to help young people with their acne, create sun protecting cream or treat other skin problems.
With this job I will travel all around the world to find natural products, my final project will be a collaboration with a famous brand.
I just want people feel better with in their skin.

I've always dreamt to work with computers. I love new technologies, robots and stuff like that. This will be very useful in the future, more than people expect. We will need to use a computer for almost everything.

ReplyDeleteWell, first of all, next year I would like to go in the science section. But if I had the chance to do my dream job I think I would like to be a famous musician, especially a singer.
I have always dreamt about being a singer and a musician because, for me, playing music is a way of healing myself when I am sad or whenever I feel bad. Music helps me to express my emotions. I also have learnt that music is a universal language and it is amazing to share it with other musicians from everywhere. I had the chance to play on stage in Nashville two weeks ago and it was an unforgettable experience! So that is why I would like to be a musician!

ReplyDeleteUsually, the dream job of most people is being actor, singer, or football player. As for me, my dream job is being fashion photographer for a famous magazine such as Vogue or Vanity Fair because first, I’ve always loved fashion since I was kid. I think I love especially designer clothes. Moreover, I love taking photos and trying to do them really original with beautiful backgrounds. Therefore, fashion photographer is a perfect mix of my two passions. On top of that, working for famous magazines is an honour and really prestigious. You have enough money and liberty to take photo like you want without rules. To conclude, I think we have to do a job the most similar to our dream job.

ReplyDeleteThen, as children we had inspiration in what we were seeing and experiencing in our everyday life, it could be, on the television, through playing with toys, or because of our parents’ and relatives’ jobs.
To conclude, I guess growing up help us realize which job we may have or not, for example : since I'm a little girl I’ve always wanted to be an astrophysicist, however, sciences are definitely not my cup of tea.

ReplyDeleteI would personaly, if I could, be an actress. This has always been my dream job. I’ve always tried to imagine myself being an actress but not too famous. I would lead a normal and basic life but I would have a place in this 7th art’s world. And to succed, I would take some lessons after school before starting working seriously. Being an actress requires a lot of qualities and of course to be neutral then you can play any role given to you. You should not just learn a text and repeat it, you aren’t yourself when the cameras are turned on, so you live into the character (role) and you try not only to express the same thing but also to feel and think in the same way. And being an actor or an actress is an incredible job to get to know plenty of personalities and to understand people that are completely different than you as an actor.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, my dream job was to be a "teacher", because I loved writing on the board and I loved going to school. But now my dream job would be to become a doctor. I think it's a very good job because you can help people, you can save lifes and you can meet new people. I would like to become a doctor but it's not possible because I have just one problem, I can't see blood. I think I will never become a doctor. So I want to work in sciences because I love studying mathematics and physics. Actually I don't know exactly what kind of job I would like to do but I'm sure it's in the field of sciences.

ReplyDeleteIf I had the choice, I would love to be the queen or the president of the world. I would move in every country every year (from L.A to Tokyo) and I would manage 7 billion people.
I would’nt only do this for fame but for the people (who am I kidding? of course I’m doing it for fame and glory…)
I will ask for much more than a president’s salary: maybe one euro per person ? I would hire one manager per country to take care of the economy and so on …and to enable me to go on holiday…

ReplyDeleteSince the internship in business, I discovered that wanted to be a dentist. It is true that for some people, this work is horrible because of surgeries and I agree. Someone may be afraid to see a lot of blood but not for me. However, I have seen that to reach this position, you have to do a baccalaureate S and go on to study long and difficult because you have to pass the first year medical exam is complicated. but when you love a job, you try to give yourself the means to get there even if it's hard. I finally thought about it and I'm going to study architecture because I also love this job.
Hi. Since i'm a kid, I really want to be a general practitioner.I really want help people sick. I like the contact with the people, talk with them etc... It's a hard to be a general practitioner you have to do 9 year of medical studies. If you want to have a teacher to help you it's realy expensive but the effort is worth.

ReplyDeleteSince I was three years old, I have always wanted to be a performer in the entertainment industry. I have been watching tapes of Michael Jackson entertaining the excited croud for as long as I can remember. I was (and still am) very impressed by his moves. He has always inspired me by the way he used to move his body and feet. So, I started to copy his dancing style. Since then, I have never stopped training myself how to dance. After a while I found my proper dancing style and I can never stop practicing it.
Now, when I’m listening to music, I feel a strong feeling of excitement flowing through my blood streams and the electrifying rhythm possessing my body. Every gesture that I make while I’m dancing is commended by the music. I am a slave to the rhythm.
I am also trying to teach myself how to sing. I am making some great improvements so far.
I know that it is a pretty ambitious dream, but if I put the hard work in it, I am sure that it will pay off.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was six years old, one of my friend’s mother asked me what I would like to do in the future and I answered « I want to be President of the French Republic ».
At this time I didn’t realize what it really meant, I just knew it was the biggest and the most important job someone could have and I think I said that just in order to make laugh my friend’s mother. But then a few years laters I was not happy at all at school, I thought again about this job and I said to myself « Why not? ». It would be a very useful job, I would create my party and I would change things for the scholar system which I’ve never liked, change this individualist and consumer society, the relations between people and the way they educate their children. In reality I don’t know a lot about politics and I do not keep myself informed about the new policies regularly moreover I know this job is too ambitious for me. That’s why I know I will never do this job but it is still making me dreaming and l I will try to make a little change at my level in the future anyway.

ReplyDeleteSince I'm about ten years old, my dream job is to be a writer or a poet, because I love reading and writing. I have already written a few short stories and a lot of poems. However, I know that this dream job is really just a dream, because, even if I were a famous writer or poet, I wouldn't earn enough money to live so I would have to have a second job. Moreover, many people like writing, but only a small number of them will ever have their works published in their lifetimes.
So I have decided to study law in order to become a judge, as I’ve always wanted to have a useful and interesting job. On top of that, both my parents have studied law when they were young, sot hey might be able to help me if needed. It is a more realistic and achievable goal !

Sales representative? No way. Chemical engineer? Not me. Whether I’m smoothing over a fight between feuding friends or solving the stickiest of situations, i somehow manage to keep even-keeled under the heaviest of pressures. That's why the perfect job for me would be making sure that people all over the world are happy, healthy, and safe.

ReplyDeleteSInce my childhood my dream is to become a footballer in the most famous club in the world. This job is perfect : you play with your friends, you win a lot of money, you're famous, and you stop to work when you are between thirty and fourty. The negative point is the difficulty. The percentage of successful is very low, but if you are really motivated and if you train everyday there are no reason that you can't do this job.
In conclusion if you really want to do one thing, don't think and act!!

ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure about my dream job, but I know that I'd love doing something that is art-related. Maybe become a comicbook writter/illustrator (but never ever manga, for christ's sake my artstyle IS NOT manga style !), or even make an art youtube channel, just like Lavendertowne or Kasey Golden, who are my two favorite youtubers .I'm drawing since I'm like... two years old, and I'm still improving. I think it would be kinda sad not to use all these things I've learnt during all those years and have a job that I wouldn't really enjoy. Furthermore, these kind of jobs would allow me to work at home, and I'm such a huge pile of laziness that this would be the best for me, lol :D

ReplyDeleteIn our Society we need to realy work hard , because found a job is very difficult . It's for what i need work very hard to become a doctor. I would like to be doctor because i want saves lives and understand the human body. Since my first science classes i have many questions but the teacher can't answers them because my questions have nothing to do with the courses . Moreover if nobody wants to do this job, who will? who will save lives? who will save the members of the body endommager? Who will be this superhero ? It's also for that i want be doctor , understand the human , the life , the world ,and particularly be a superhero ,is my dream and i think it's in this work i will be happy.

I want to be a lawyer because I find this job interesting because I think it's great to be able to defend someone... Then it's a job that has always fascinated me since I was a child I like to be useful and help others.I have seen my aunt work on different cases many times and I found it very fascinating and I think that the profession of lawyer makes it possible to do justice because without this profession, some people could be in prison even though they are innocent and it would be really unfair, that's why I like this profession.

ReplyDeleteSince childhood, I had two dreams that animated my potential future : fighter pilot and Formula One driver. You might say : "The jobs are dangerous, what about your own life ?" It's what I really like in these two jobs: the dangerousness and the adrenaline rush provided. Just imagine the sensations you can feel when you are at more than 300km/h on a straight line, trying to defend your position agaisnt the others drivers, or when you break sound wall with a fighter jet. It's amazing and unique in my opinion. Furthermore, the mechanical and technical aspect is absolutely fascinating, but expensive. Indeed, a formula one car is very expensive owing to the high-tech design and the expensives materials used for the chassis manufacture.
These dreams are almost unrealizable because of the financial aspect for driver academy, and because of the selective aspect of fighter pilot license.

hello, me my dream job would be doctor but I'm not yet in what specialty but I would like to be specialized in obstetric medicine. I find beautiful work because you help to give birth, you protect newborns it's magic! Then, what I love in my job is that each case is different, it's not a routine, it's alive. Finally, my dream job is very hard because they have to pass competitions where they are sometimes only a few places but I hope to get there. Here I tell you everything.

ReplyDeleteAs a child I was fascinated by space, animals, sport, dinosaurs and prehistory. Now I would like to study space, the universe, the galaxies. Meanwhile, I discovered some sports like judo and soccerball, and I would like to become champion in these two sports but unfortunately, because of studies, it will be impossible for me.
