Do the rich always have an easy life?

  1. I do not think they have a life "too 'easy because they often have great responsibilities and a schedule often charged.
And money does not allow happiness but it contributes.

  3. I don't think the rich have an easy life because the rich have more responsibility and a time use very loaded. And as Elise and Emma said, the money does not make happiness.

  5. In my opinion the "rich" haven't an easy life because I know money doesn't buy the hapiness, even thought life is hard for all.
I think it's worth to be lived because despite the problems and the difficulties still love have a postive side

  6. I personally think that while the rich may not encounter financial problems they face other difficulties in life as money does not solve all problems. "money is the root of all evil" and can pose many problems such as people wanting to harm you as a way of acquiring your wealth.

  7. The rich have not a beautiful life because they undergo a constant racism because of the jealousy of the other people thus they have no friends and when they have it are often this persons who take advantage of their wealth and as everybody knows him we can have everything with the money except the most important thing: the love

  10. No, I don't think so, they may be rich but most of them worked hard to get where they are now. And some even neglects their own children.
Money only contribute to the happiness of the family but doesn't solve everything.

  11. I don't think that the rich have a life easy because to be able to buy everything all the time become boring, and the money can't do happiness !
I also think that to be rich provokes certainly the jealousy of some people but not quite because the majority of people prefer to stay with a rich persons ...

  12. I don't think that rich have an easy life. Rich are people like everybody, they just have more money. So indeed, they have more opportunities to go on a journey in beautiful places in the world. With money, many things are possible to do, no restrictions ... some people even cheat with it. They also can go in famous school or universities... Therefore they can't be in lack of something.
However, like everyone they can't escape from death or disease. Moreover teenagers often have a lot of drug because sometimes it's expensive so they can buy it.

Everybody can be happy even without be rich but just in being happy to be alive and to have friends/family who like her/him and to love them too.

  13. I see everybody here answered that the don't, well, I disagree:

According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the safety level of needs, that are satisfied with money, are very important, more than the love/belonging level of needs, for exemple. Money is for us the most important thing after health. (I suggest you to go to the wikipedia article about this. tip: in the language selection, you can choose "simple English").

So, I would say that yes, rich people have an easy life. Anyway, if any of those "poor riches" has problems because he is too wealthy, I accept to take some of his money !

Besides, I noticed that the way the question is asked makes it a reflex to answer "no", but what would have been the comments if the question was about poor people?

  14. For me, being rich does not mean much.

Have money signfie able to buy expensive clothes or a house expensive or anything expensive but these things are not always beautiful, we do not need 500 euros to have a nice pants what I mean c Is that money is something material. On the other hand to be rich means to have friends, true friends who will always be there and a family that takes care of you and a person who loves you. A rich person will have all the cars in the world or all the houses, the day it will be sad the cars or the houses will serve no purpose.

Being rich is just material, for me true wealth is love and when I look at my friends, my family and the person I love I can tell myself that I am rich

  16. Being rich means that you have a lot of money, which provide plenty of equipment and other all life stuffs. But all these things are material stuff, what I mean here is that they can only be useful for a physical problem in your life, for example a really good hairdryer that will permit you to gain time before going out. However, this can’t help you with a psychological problem, for example, if one of your parents dies, nothing will bring them back to life, or ease your immense sadness. So yes, rich people have what they want, when they want, but the new iPhone won’t replace the death of a close relation. To conclude, I just want to say that okay, rich people can afford to do whatever they want with all of their money, but this money can’t change their destiny and offer them an easy and long life.

  17. Hello,
It is difficult question as I am not in this situation but I can imagine it.
First of all, when you are rich it is obvious that your life is and will always be easier than for poor people, nobody can deny it.
But in this situation there are new problems : you may be afraid of losing everything at any time and become paranoid, relationships are more delicate because you can’t know if someone is here for your money or for you. Maybe you have more pressure because of your responsibilities. Moreover because you can have it all, you no longer have a purpose because you can have it at any time. There is no more goal and it is frustrating.
But all of these things don't make life difficult.
A difficult life is when you can’t feed yourself, you get depressed, you are physically disabled, or have disabilities to : talk, walk, speak, hear, feel, … It’s when you don’t want to live anymore, when you have experienced the death of a family member. When you can’t have children but always dreamt of it, when you’re living under bombardments and where everything is in shortage. When you can’t remember who your own sister is, when you can’t do anything on your own, when you are addicted to drugs, affection, alcohol. When you are a battered woman or man. And ironically, all those people who are or have been faced with the worst situations in life, the worst scenarios are the strongest and the ones who complain the least. And now they know the true price of life.

On the one hand, I wouldn’t say that they have an easy life but what is sure is that they don’t have a tough life. Of course there are some problems caused by money but they can afford everything they want and need, whereas « normal » people, and poor people can’t afford much of what they really need.
But on the other hand the fact that they are rich doesn’t mean they can’t complain : some people will tell you « but there are worse things, why are you complaining ? ». Obviously there are worse things, there is always worse in all situations but that’s not why you can’t complain.
Finally, I’d say that they don’t have an easy life but compared to the vast majority of the population, they an easier one.
