In my opinion, I think that Christmas is a very important period for a large part of the French, however I wonder if it is so good to take the risk of accentuating the development of COVID. I think that restrictions are a good solution to fight COVID, however they are not always respected, that is why I think it is important that all French people become aware of the danger of this virus and that it is therefore important to respect the restrictions in order to be able to enjoy the most of Christmas period. Due to the Covid, the Christmas season was totally different this year. As for many people, Christmas is a very important family time for me, but the safeness of my family is ever more important. I think the restrictions are essentials to protect everyone from this virus, but unfortunately, lots of people do not respects them and take the advantage of this lightering to see each other and to involuntarily propagate the disease. Due to this comportment, the number of cases still increase, in consequences the best solution to decrease the number of affected people by the Covid 19 and to promote the health of the population, a lockdown would be necessary, as in surrounding countries as England.
It is difficult to answer this question... On the one hand, Christmas is a time to share with family, friends and loved ones, if the state decides to set up a lockdown, many people, especially the elderly or those at risk, will find themselves alone. But this will avoid any risk of contamination. On the other hand, if restrictions are put in place to limit the number of people per household and travel, this will limit the risks while keeping the Christmas spirit to a minimum. This is why before Christmas I thought that the best thing to do is to avoid confinement but to be careful, to avoid kissing and not to get too close to each other. However, I have been of the opinion that the state has decided to put restrictions in place but this has only increased the rate of cases so I think that confinement is now urgent.

Firstly Christmas is one of the famous celebration where families get together to celebrate properly Christmas. But COVID is here and our parents and grand-parents are weak against COVID.
