Hi! What are my impressions as a new pupil ? Well, I would say that the first two weeks were really tiring and I was really lost, especially because I came after the start of year because of some issues with my registration... It's also strange to become the the yougest while we were the oldest before, then you have to adapt to your class and your schedule, I honestly think that our class is very good there is a good atmosphere and everyone, mostly, gets along well. I agree with the fact that our timetable is very exhausting that's one of the only thing I regret from middle school but there is a lot of advantages with high school like we have more freedom and autonomy, you meet new people and it's great to change environment! It's true to say that compared of middle school, lessons of high school are more difficult but we knew it before so I'm not suprised.
What do I appreciate most at high school ? Freedom, it's not like before when you had to go in "permanence" because your teachers weren't there, or if you wanted to eat with your friends outside you couldn't, now we have rules of course but we are so much free than before.And people are so much mature!

By the way, if you have any questions about the operation of the school, you can ask me whenever you want. As an old student, I'm aware of the differences between middle school and high school concerning: First, homework, then teachers and finally the expected level. Furthermore, if you guess school is stressful, I could give you some things not to be worried because I know how anxiety makes the life worse. Hello ! As a new studient in this high school, I find that there is more personnal work than in my former school, I have more things to do, I have to concentrate more than before. The school level is higher than in my former school. There aren't really things who miss me in my former school exept maybe my friends but I know that I have to move on something else to be successful this year. That I appreciate the most in the high school ? There is more freedom than in my former school : if I don't study during one hours or more I can do what I want (within reasonnable limits of course). I agree and I like this system. Good bye !
Hello ! As a new student in high school , i felt a little lost at the level of the system and the work . I was stressed because i didn't knew the students ans i was afraid of teacher because they work differently from those of the college . Ans also i had difficulty the first week to move me in the establishment . What i liked the most in hight school is that we are autonomous and less followed and there were things we could not do in the former school whereas in high school we can and also we have a freedom which was not too much the case in my former school .
Hello everyone As for me, I have been in the Lycee for 2 complete school years now and this is my last year as I am in Terminale class. I am sad to leave the Lycee because I want to do medical studies and I know I will have to work a lot, that is to say no extra scolar activities or going out with friends ! Just work all day long ! As a new studient in this highschool, I find that I have more homework, and I also spend more time in school than last year so it's quite tiring. However, I think that the lessons are more interesting than last year's lessons. At the beginning of the year, I was frightened to be in a new school, but I was able to adapt to my new school and I really like it. The only thing I miss about my former school is the timetables, because mine, because we used to leave the school at 4 or 5 pm, whereas we sometimes leave school at 6 pm this year ! The thing I appreciate the most in the "lycée" is the freedom that I have. I can leave the school whenever I want, I can choose where to eat, which is really great ! In my former school, we couldn't leave the school if a teacher was missing, and we had to stay in for hours, doing nothing. It was really boring ! In this highschool, the pupils are more free and we're treated like responsible adults, not like children. I think that's the main difference between my new school and my former school...
Hi everyone, I totally agree with Amira, that's the same for me. When high school began, I was lost and O knew nobody and like I am shy, I talked to nobody. I miss my former school because all of my friends are going to an other high school except Sirine and me. Now, I have adapt myself. I see eye to eye with Amira about high school is harder than middle school but I didn't think it would be as hard. If you ask me the question if I like my class, I would say yes because everybody talks to everybody. Like Amira said too, I find there is a good ambiance in the class because we laugh a lot. In this new school, we are the youngest whereas last year, we were the oldest, but that's ambarassing because the people are more mature and they don't really think to bother us. In high school, I like to going out when I want and not having to stay long hours in the instetution. To the end, our timetable was better lat year because that of this year is awful.

Nevertheless, what I like in high school, this is the fact I have more freedom because in middle school, when a teacher is absent or that I usually don't have classes, I had to go in "permanence". Futhermore, my class is nice, there is a good atmosphere, but also the people are mature, while at middle school, the people are childish. What worried me, it's the teacher's way of working and the decline of my average because I had been told that the second year is quite complicated! As I finish late, I don't necessarily have time to advance in my homework since I have for the next day, must therefore organize more! Finally, I don't miss so much, even if, there were my friends and I felt comfortable. Howeover, I like the functioning of high school, even if, I had some difficulties to adapt.
