Time Table

Hey everyone, first post for me. So since it's the beginning of the year, and that we recently received our final time table, I would like to hear what you have to say about it (50-100 words).

  1. Hello ! I think our new time table is much better than the first one that we had received at the beginning of the year, but I also believe that it is only true for the pupils who learn German (as I do), because most of the changes that were made to the time table have been made to allow the ones that learn German to be in a smaller group in the classroom. As for the rest of the class, I don't think they're very pleased with our new time table, and I understand them ! I also think that having sport lessons from 4pm to 6pm is not great, as we would be less tired if we had sport lessons in the morning.

  2. Hello ! I think our time table is very busy compared to my schedule of last year. Indeed I find that there are more school subjects. But I'm not angry because it is necessary to succeed later. Furthermore, I also find that the schedules are unbalanced according to the days. For example, on Thursday I do 8 am-6pm and on Friday I do 10 am-3 pm. I also registered at the high school futsal club. The schedules annoy me because the futsal is practiced on Thursdays and Fridays from 12.45am to 1.45pm and we study at this moment. But otherwise, I'm happy with this final time table.(~105 words)

  3. Hi !
Honestly, I think that our timetable is terrible. The hours are a bigger problem for me than the students studying Spanish because my German lessons are more widespread. I don’t have any time to rest. Almost everyday we start at 8 a.m. and finish at 5 or 6 p.m., which is excessive !
    Thank you for your attention.

  4. Hi. As a Germanist, I agree that it is inconvenient for others on Tuesday. We have French from 10AM to 11AM and before we didn't. We had 2 hours of French on Friday, then it was changed to having 1 hour of German between those 2 hours and changed to our current schedule.
But besides that, unlike Octave I don't think my other classmates can really complain. I'll explain myself : I do German, Latin and DNLAGL (Biology in English) so on Monday I have 1 hour to eat because I have Latin (then again I'm planning on doing the Theatre/Theater 'Club' which means eating a sandwich quickly, however it's my choice), on Thursday I wake up for DNLAGL at 8AM and on Friday at 8AM too for 2 hours of Latin and finish at 4PM for German.
I'm not asking for pity but, if you don't have those options or took Spanish instead, you have more freetime than I do especially on Friday (10AM-3PM with 2h of break).
As I said, I took options and even in middle school I did too. As a result I'm not surprised nor very annoyed by our timetable. Of course, it is true to say that our days are busy, therefore we feel tired but what did you expect in tenth grade/Year 11 ?
The only choice we have, in my opinion, is to adapt ourselves quickly, because we don't have a say anyways.
Concerning P.E, last year I had it first thing in the morning at 8AM and to be honest, after, I was sweaty, tired and angry sometimes (when I lost a game for example) so, it wasn't very enjoyable to have classes for the entire day when I was just sitting in a chair while I was trying to focus. Although it's just as unpleasant to finish the day at 6PM, with P.E you can unwind all the frustration of the day.
To sum up, I'm fine with our final timetable, I'm taking the options I'm interested in and it could have been worse.

  5. Hello !
I think that our final time table is worse than the first one, because on Thursdays, we work 9 hours (8h-->13h and 14h--> 18h). So on Thursdays evenings we are exhausted. Fortunately, we works only 3 hours on Fridays, so we can rest.

  6. Hi!
I think that our time table is just awful because we finsih at 6 or 5 almost everyday and sometimes it's hard for me to find some time to do my homework.
But on Fridays, we only work 3 hours so that's the best day of the week, even if it's a bit unfair for the Germanist to finish at 4 while the Spanish finish at 3.
    Thank for your attention, Lisa.

  7. Hi everyone!
In my opinion, I am not surprised so much by my final time table because in high school, I have more subjects as mps and ses, which makes me more hours of work.
What I find unpalatable is the fact that I finish late, which doesn't leave me time to do my homework quietly or to advance as I would like, so I have to organize myself more! Furthermore, I have long days like Thursdays (9h-13h and 14-18h) but also I have less tiring days like Fridays (10h-11h and 13h-15h).
Finally, I think there are time table that worse than mine!
