The technologies is the whole of the tools and material which is used in the industry, for example, but we also use it every day. Today, a lot of things around us are technologies and we use them near in all the world, so they are very important in our life.
First of all, when the technologies did not exist the people lived without, so it is possible but now we live with, then I think that we could but it would be very difficult. Secondly, there is technologies that we use more than other one, like the mobile phone, the computer, the car or the electricity. I think that these are the most important. For example the mobile phone, we use it every day because it is very useful indeed with your mobile phone you can call or speak by message with your friends or your family when and where we would like. Furthermore the mobile phones of today are also computers and cameras, so you can call, send messages but also mails. You can surf on Internet or take photos too. So, we can do every thing with it. After that the electricity is essential today, we need it for all, for the light, for example, which is indispensable in the world. Finally, I find that the car is a very useful technology. It is very useful indeed, in the town, the difference between the car and the bus is that with the car you can go where you want and when you want. The car is also very useful for travelling.
Finally, I would like to say that, I think that I could not live without any technologies like the electricity or the mobile phones which are used in all the world but there are also others technologies which are not essentials like the television.
Today, technologies are part of our life and many persons can't live without some of them. We can talk about two sorts nowadays : useful (phones, computers, Tvs, …) and essentials (electricity, transports, ...). Which technology I could not live without ?
To begin with, many technologies are important in our life nowadays. For me, the most essential is the electricity because I always used to live with it. Moreover I don't know what life can be without this technology because it is the key to many technologies ! Secondly, transports are very important I think, because you can go easily where you want, travel or see friends and family far away from you. Thirdly, my phoone and my computer are useful to keep contact with someone you hardly ever see or to surf on internet when you need something, to help to make researchs for science,games, cameras, ... But I think I could live without this two technologies, even if it would be very hard. However, many objects can substitute them : letters, books, dictionnaries, society games, … Finally, an object I sometimes use and I could live without easily is my televison : I rarely watch it because many programs aren't intersting at all. I prefer watch a DVD (sometimes) or see programs after ( with no ads) : somehow I use a technology ! But, TV and films are not really important for me.
To conclude, many technologies are part of my life and it would be hard to live without. Therefore, some countries and populations don't use a lot of them (except electricity for many people) because they can't buy them : they manage very well so we can do the same !

But let's see, there must be one technology that I just couldn't be without. This year more specifically. But let's be honest: if you want to watch movies, you can go to the movies! And as for the news, well there are newspapers. I must say I never read the papers, but why not start today, it's never too late right? Now I'm hesitating between my laptop and my phone.. We have to say that today computers are being way over replaced by phones: indeed, phones can do nearly as much as computers! Facebook, chatting online, skype, and one thing that computers can't do and that phones can is calling someone anywhere in the world on its cellphone. Of course you have skype, but it's not the same.
To conclude, I believe it would be more practical and logical to say that I couldn't live without my phone, it's a must and I don't really know what I'd do without it. If I'm late or in danger, my laptop can't help me. The other stuff can wait, but my phone just can't!

As for me, I use almost all of them every day, but I can say that my computer and my phone are the most important to me. On one hand my computer is really useful because I can watch series on it, I can watch the news, I can do research, I can work because of it, but on the other hand my phone is really important too, to go on social networks (even if I can also do it with my computer), to text my friends, to phone if I just want to speak with someone or if I have a problem or an emergency. Moreover, phones have evoluated a lot and we can use them as computers : we can now do the same things with a phone and with a computer, the only difference between them is that a phone is smaller, we can bring it everywhere and we can phone with it.
In a nutshell, I can say that I could not live without my phone because I think it is the most useful technology : indeed, there are all of the functions we can find in the other technologies, but we can also phone with it and we can bring it everywhere. That is why I could not live without it.

In conclusion, it seems that technology will be a big subject of debate until the end of time. We can’t live without technology, but we must be careful to the way which we use it to stay independant and free.

Today technologies are wherever we go. They are part of our society, and we can’t describe the society today without being in contact with new technologies. We need credit cards to travel or to buy anything on the internet, we are fond of our television, our computers and noone under 10 can live without being in close contact with his friends (cellphones, mails, iMessage or else…) I think all has been said about this subject but I would like to add something. First of all, I would like to talk about the society centuries ago. At the beginning, people didn’t know the existence of cellphones, for example. So they lived perfectly well without them, and they would communicate with their friends, by writing letters ! People could write about one letter per day ! Nowadays we can’t imagine what future technologies will be… Maybe society won’t be able to live without and so on and so forth ! Yet, I thought about another technology that everyone has : our body. It’s a huge technology which every human being is made of. It was there at the beginning of humanity and will be until the death of mankind. Even if some won’t agree, our body is a technology, and we cannot live without it ! To conclude, I think I can’t live without my body… and my techy stuff…

About the body, though, I'm afraid I have to be one of those who won't agree: indeed, according to what I found, technologies are created by human knowledge, and humans are not capable of artificially creating a body, we create new bodies by natural ways, so I think it does not count as a technology. However, the multiple definitions of technology that I found were all on online dictionaries, none of them 100% reliable, so if you have a reliable English dictionary defining body as a technology, then I'd agree with you. I cann't live without my electronic tablet, because I work with it in high shcool. I can take photographs of lessons in class and I read them at home. Moreover I watch international serials on TV. But my dog broke a baterry therefore it is dead. My mother love the new technologie. So she like a test a new invention.
I cannot live without internet, this technology revolutionized the world, today everybody uses internet that that is to work, relax or same lira of the books.
I thinkk I could not live without my phone because my phone allows me to join my friends or family, it also allows me to go on the internet or Watch the TV. I think it is great use to me.
