"The picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde

What is beauty? Do you think that you have to be happy to be kind?

  1. The beauty maybe inside and outside.
For example, Dorian Gray is a very good looking man outside but his picture shows him inside.
His beauty outside is a kind of mask to hide his cruelty.
Sometimes we have to be unkind to be happy.
For example, Dorian was nasty with Shybil his own happiness.
But have to be happy to be unkind.
For example, Lord Henry who benefits from the youth of Dorian.
I think that one inevitably should not be happy to be nice.
That depends on the personality and the happiness of the people.

  3. Kindness does not have to be directly linked to happiness as a person in dire sadness can still have a kind heart as it is just in their nature and this is in my opinion true beauty.

  4. I think we can be nice and intelligent at the same time! Example: Jean Ferrat!! The greatest singer in the whole universe! With his fine mustache and wrinkles at the corner of his eyes when he smiles... <3 In addition, he is a singer hired.

  7. The beauty is internal and external but the beauty internal is more important than the beauty external because a man who respect everyone, who is kind, joyful, amiable, and funny will be more enjoy by the other person. A man who is beautiful and sad, pessimist, selfish won't be enjoy.
